We will use
Access2Market to obtain
How much % or amount of tariff should we apply to our product, both for import and export.
In addition to obtaining the tariffs, we can obtain a lot of interesting data such as
taxes, Procedures and formalities, Trade Obstacles, Trade flow statistics.
What do I have to do?
The first step will be:
After obtaining the taric code, and already being on the access2maket website.
We must enter the taric code in the box that indicates (Product name or HS code).
This field is a numerical code.
The next step would be to complete: Country of Origin and Country of Destination.
And then, click on search.
This will redirect us to another page.
This page tells us, as a %, the tariff that applies to the country we want to export.
There are different types of tariffs that may appear.
In this case the first is an Ad Valorem tariff.
Meanwhile, the second percentage we see is a Preferential tariff.

It is applied as a fixed amount per physical unit of the imported or exported goods. |
Mixed tariff |
It is a combination of ad valorem tariff and specific tariff. |
Compound tariff |
It applies a combination of ad valorem tariff and specific tariff, but one or the other is applied under certain conditions. |
Preferential tariff |
It applies to goods imported from certain countries with which preferential trade agreements are in place. |
