What does FCL and LCL mean?
FCL Marítimo
It is a shipment in which the merchandise is transported inside a container
from a single shipper without sharing space with other loads,
That is, the entire container is at the disposal of the exporter or importer.
LCL Marítimo
Lower volume ocean shipments that do not require the capacity of a full container.
Multiple shipments from different customers are grouped and consolidated,
which allows you to save on costs.

We must enter:
- The type of transport
- The Port of Origin
- The Port of Destination
- The type of load.
Then we must click on Search Rates.
The page will update and will show us information regarding the transportation of goods that we want to carry out.
If we click on "See Details and Charges", we can obtain a breakdown
of the costs related to the transportation of the merchandise at origin.
Such as international transportation costs and taxes related to the operation.
The Total price that we must pay for the operation will be the sum of:
- Origin costs
- International freight charges
- Taxes
- Additional services
We can also add extra costs, such as the clearance of customs documents or insurance.
Everything will depend on the type of Incoterm selected and personal needs.
